For nearly 20 years, Dr. Johnston has provided vocational evaluations for individuals of all ages and diverse backgrounds. As a researcher, a teacher, and a practicing rehabilitation counselor, he is uniquely qualified to provide an assessment of employability and wage earning capacity.
EvaluationDr. Johnston performs comprehensive vocational evaluations, utilizing an array of test instruments on an individualized basis. A sound methodology and an empathetic counseling style are the foundation for assisting individuals in identifying realistic vocational goals. Evaluations are tailored to the needs of the individual, and are utilized to help identify work interests, training opportunities, and employment potential.

Job PlacementWith experience placing individuals directly into jobs, Dr. Johnston educates individuals on preparing for a successful job search. By conducting labor market surveys, he is able to provide a defensible opinion on the availability of jobs and potential wages in light of disability.

TestimonyDr. Johnston's opinions are often cited as a basis for employment and wage determination. He has been cited as a qualified expert in Federal court, and has been engaged to provide opinions in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Georgia, and Texas. With 18 years of experience in vocational evaluation and job placement, an additional 10 years of teaching experience, and numerous publications, he is highly qualified as a vocational expert.
